316...

Who's the guy who made it into first class despite the fact that Hurley bought all the remaining seats?

How could Kate leave Aaron? How could Sun leave her daughter? Didn't ANYONE think to ask how they were going to GET BACK once they saved everyone on the island??

I fear Ben's "promise to an old friend" was killing Penny. Sure hope she and Desmond are okay.

By the way, tonight's episode made it look like the canoes Sawyer & company found on the beach belonged to Jack & Kate (because of the airline info found inside) ... so they were already back on the island at the last jump.

'Lost' star says Smoke Monster secrets to emerge

Feb. 10, 2009, 6:58 PM EST
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- One of the biggest mysteries of LOST
— the Smoke Monster — will be unveiled on the popular TV drama, and soon.

Actor Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Jin, said in an interview that the origin and nature of the malevolent dark cloud will be disclosed and viewers will even get a glimpse of its lair. Turns out the monster is as "old as the island" that's been home to the Oceanic jet-crash survivors and their foes.
Kim also cautioned against expectations that his character, Jin, will reunite with his wife, Sun (Yunjin Kim), even though Jin survived a freighter explosion and Sun returns to the island after escaping it.

Those events don't mean "they're particularly in the same place or chronologically in the same time," Kim said.

As for the atomic bomb that showed up in the "Jughead" episode, he said the show's producers rarely give something such prominence unless it counts in the island's mythology.
"That's a huge red herring if it's a red herring," Kim said, suggesting the bomb could help resolve plot points as the series ends in 2010.

Perhaps the time-traveling that's popped up this season might be one of those.

Spoilers from TV Guide

Q: Is Jin really back on Lost?
A: He really is, and Daniel Dae Kim really is still a series regular. Yay! My source tells me "He's not going anywhere," meaning, off the show. But of course, Jin is going lots of places! He's stuck a good two decades in the past right now with preggo Rousseau. Our East Coast correspondent, Breanne Heldman, met up with DDK at New York's ComicCon today, and he hinted that the Rousseau storyline would last for a while, saying, "She's around, let's put it that way." When asked if Jin will learn French, Daniel said slyly, "Who's to say he doesn't already know it?" We get the feeling he may already speak it, so this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship for young Rousseau and Jin.

Q: Will Jin and Sun reunite?
A: "Definitely," a source close to the show tells me. "And it may be sooner than you think." DDK says: "That, I think, you'll be surprised if and when you see it." I'm expecting lots of tears—onscreen and off (i.e. mine).

Q: Lance Reddick (now on Fringe) tells us he's coming back to Lost in the Feb. 25 episode. So get ready for more Matthew Abaddon freakiness!

Q: Is it just me or does it seem like Charlotte and Daniel knew each other before they got on the Island?
A: Ding, ding! I think you're on to something. Here's what Rebecca Mader herself told me on their relationship: "They must have a history. Because it's like they just got to this island and all of a sudden they appear to have—he apparently loves her, he's in love with her, which is huge." Hopefully we'll find out about it soon since someone is kicking the bucket this week, and it very well could be Charlotte.

Q: Will Charlotte die?
A: Rebecca Mader told me she's safe for now, but the emphasis was a bit too strong on the "for now" for my liking, and I'm hearing she may have been released from the show at some point to shoot a movie with George Clooney.

Who Has To Go Back - Technically?

If they ALL have to go back to the island, what about Michael & Walt? Michael, of course, can't go back. But why is no one looking for Walt?

Sneak Peaks of Ep 5.5: This Place Is Death

Thursday, February 5, 2009

I voted that a flash will occur before Jin can change the future. But later (earlier in the series) he could have said something to everyone - so it is odd.

I agree about the whispers. Now we know what the whispers are!

This has nothing to do with being an 'other'.... I felt all along it was Ben trying to get Kate to want to run (as she has a history of that way of problem solving!) by trying to get Aaron back. So she would be willing to meet them.

I think they all have to return so they can intersect with that point in time and 'not' spin the island out of its groove.

I did not see the first season and don't understand (can someone explain?) about Jack and Kate finding their own bones!?

Charlotte and Miles must have been children (Miles may be Marvin Candle's child, right?) on the island. I think if they find their 'constant' they don't die. I also think that we've been told that everyone has to return in order to save the rest of the people on the island. I think that's because the time travel will eventually kill them all. The island obviously was stable for awhile prior. And Widmore knows how to find the island....If Miles and Charlotte get to find their own constants, they may be okay.

It seems like LOST is a like a jigsaw puzzle, more than any other type of puzzle. We get pieces and areas begin to fill in to make a total picture.

This is the best season yet. That's for sure. I think the rest of this season will be about getting them together and back - next season will be about resolving the problems of the island.

Questions: What happened to Hanso? Who is trying to kill Sayid? Where is Sun's baby? Who/when were the people in the canoes?

More Questions....

So if Jin is alive and sees Rousseau, was that the mom or daughter Rousseau? I didn't quite catch that. AND If everyone is getting nosebleeds, are they going to die? When Sawyer saw Kate and Claire in the woods, does that make him an "other"? So in previous seasons when the group heard things in the woods, could that maybe be themselves in the future "peeking" in on them between flashes? That would make them all "others"! My brain is now officially FRIED!

New Poll and Ep. 5.4 "The Little Prince"

Wow. What an episode.
I hate Benjamin Linus, but I'll have to say that he is dangerously close to stealing Sawyer's title of king of the one-liners.

Take the new poll (at right) and post your thoughts here!
